Extremely dirty indoor coil.

This is a very good reason why to replace your systems when they start to get old.  All that stuff in the A-coil is insulation and the silver wrapping that hold’s it together.  This came from the furnace. This restricts airflow and causes liquid freon to go back into the compressor. This eventually will cause compressor failure.  This compessor on this system failed.  The only way to clean this indoor coil would have been to reclaim all the freon and take the a-coil off of the top of the furnace.
